• 2 Boxes of Crayons - 24 pack
• 1 Pkg of Colored Pencils 12 Pack
• 1 Black Dry Erase Markers - 4 pack
• 1 Pkg of Dry Erasers
• 6 Glue Sticks - Large
• 1 Pair of Fiskars Scissors 1 (blunt tip)
• 1 Pkg of Erasers (Large pink)
• 1 Pkg of Pencils (pre-sharpened preferred)-24 pack
• 1 Clipboard
• 1 Pair of Headphones labeled in baggie
• 1 Plastic Supply/Pencil Box
• 1 Bookbag - Backpack style
• 1 Pkg of Wipes (Clorox/other)
• 2 Boxes of Kleenex
• 1 Ziploc Bags - Gallon 1(girls)
• 1 Ziploc Bags - Quart 1(boys)

• 1 Paint Shirt (in a Ziploc bag labeled with the students name) for Art
• 1 Pkg of Clorox or Baby Wipes for Art
• 1 Pair of Tennis shoes for P.E.

In addition, you can always build a starter kit of first grade school supplies and add to it as needed before the school year begins.

A couple of things to keep in mind when ordering your first grade supplies, consumable school supplies tend to run out long before the school year ends so take advantage of the back to school offers and stock up on the basic supplies, your child's first grade teacher at Sterling Morton Elementary School will thank you for that, and more importantly, your child's presence is the most important thing, the supplies are second to that and your teacher will be more than understanding if you are unable to purchase all of the supplies on the list.
