FIRST GRADE SCHOOL SUPPLIES LIST

• 3 packages 12 #2 pencils Presharpened (Not decorated - Ticonderoga preferred)
• 3 boxes of 24-ct. Crayola crayons
• 1 package of paper mate pink pearl erasers
• 12 Giant Elmer's glue sticks (minimum)
• 1 Fiskar scissors (pointed)
• 1 pair of headphones (No earbuds)
• 2 - 4 packs Expo dry erase markers - ALL BLACK
• 2 packages Crayola classic colors washable markers
• 1 school box plastic 5 x 8
• 2 spiral bound WIDE ruled notebooks
• 2 folders (blue/red, plastic with prongs)
• 1 highlighter
• 1 box of band-aids
• 2 boxes of Kleenex
• 2 containers of Lysol/Clorox wipes
• Girls: gallon size Ziploc bags
• Boys: sandwich size Ziploc bags
• Girls: Ream of white cardstock
• Boys: Ream of colored cardstock
• Personal water bottle (with name on it) for daily use.

In addition, you can always build a starter kit of first grade school supplies and add to it as needed before the school year begins.

The first grade teachers at Westwood Elementary School will typically update their school supplies list on a yearly basis, we try to update this list accordingly however we advise you to check with your child's first grade teacher and double check with the school, Westwood Elementary School, to see if there have been any changes to this year's first grade supply list.

A couple of things to keep in mind when ordering your first grade supplies, consumable school supplies tend to run out long before the school year ends so take advantage of the back to school offers and stock up on the basic supplies, your child's first grade teacher at Westwood Elementary School will thank you for that, and more importantly, your child's presence is the most important thing, the supplies are second to that and your teacher will be more than understanding if you are unable to purchase all of the supplies on the list.
