Second Grade School Supplies List

• 1 Bookbag with NO WHEELS
• 1 Student planners from PTA (agendas)
• 2 Plastic folders with prongs and pockets (any color)
• 5 Mead, Wide Ruled Composition Notebooks (NOT primary)
• 1 Zippered pencil pouch (no boxes)
• 1 Pkg of Pencils (3-5 sharpened daily)
• 1 pencil sharpener with cover
• 8 glue sticks
• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 12-inch centimeter/inch ruler
• 1 set of headphones in a labeled Ziploc bag (No earbuds)
• 2 packs of red pens (will be kept for class use)
• 2 packs of yellow highlighters (will be kept for class use)
• 1 pack of copy paper
• 1 bottle of liquid soap or hand sanitizer
• 1 box of tissues
• 1 box of baby wipes or lysol/chlorox wipes
• 1 box of dry erase markers
• 1 Ziploc bag gallon (boy)
• 1 Ziploc bag sandwich (girls)
• 1 Pkg of Sharpies
• 1 School sweater or dark blue sweater (navy)

The second grade teachers at Coral Way K-8 Center will typically update their school supplies list on a yearly basis, we try to update this list accordingly however we advise you to check with your child's second grade teacher and double check with the school, Coral Way K-8 Center, to see if there have been any changes to this year's second grade supply list.

A couple of things to keep in mind when ordering your second grade supplies, comsumable school supplies tend to run out long before the school year ends so take advantage of the back to school offers and stock up on the basic supplies, your child's second grade teacher at Coral Way K-8 Center will thank you for that, and more importantly, your child's presence is the most important thing, the supplies are second to that and your teacher will be more than understanding if you are unable to purchase all of the supplies on the list.
