Second Grade School Supplies List

• 6 Hard Cover Marble Composition Notebooks Wide Ruled-no spiral notebooks please
• 2 boxes of #2 pencils (plain yellow-Ticonderoga brand preferred)
• 1 package of eraser tops for pencils or non-smudge erasers
• 3 packages of lined post-its (post-it brand preferred in neon or pastel colors)
• 4 folders: one each for homework, math, social studies, and science (2 pockets without fasteners in center)
• 1 poly (not paper) 2 pocket folder for writing
• 1 package of dry erase markers
• 1 package of glue sticks (Avery brand preferred)
• $9.00 for Scholastic Weekly Reader magazine (a year long subscription)
• 2 boxes of zip lock baggies- quart or gallon size
• 2 boxes of tissues*
• 2 rolls of paper towels*
• 1 box of baby wipes*
• 2 containers of Lysol or Clorox anti-bacterial wipes*
• 1 hand sanitizer

• 1 electric pencil sharpener (for heavy use)
• 1 box of clear plastic sheet protectors (100)
• 1 package of Binder Pockets in bright colors (24)
• 1 package of white card stock paper
• 1 package of neon card stock paper

• 4 notebooks for reading, writing, math, and science
• 1 Pkg of Pencils
• 1 Pencil sharpener
• 1 Pair of Scissors
• 1 Pkg of Gluesticks
• 1 Pkg of Colored pencils

The second grade teachers at P.S. 33 Chelsea School will typically update their school supplies list on a yearly basis, we try to update this list accordingly however we advise you to check with your child's second grade teacher and double check with the school, P.S. 33 Chelsea School, to see if there have been any changes to this year's second grade supply list.

A couple of things to keep in mind when ordering your second grade supplies, comsumable school supplies tend to run out long before the school year ends so take advantage of the back to school offers and stock up on the basic supplies, your child's second grade teacher at P.S. 33 Chelsea School will thank you for that, and more importantly, your child's presence is the most important thing, the supplies are second to that and your teacher will be more than understanding if you are unable to purchase all of the supplies on the list.
